During a race weekend, the starting grid is one of the most competitive environments for audience attention: more than 60 race cars, dozens of teams, sponsors, photographers, and thousands of fans — every team competes for visibility.
The goal was to make a racing team stand out organically, attract media attention, increase social sharing, and create a memorable brand experience — without relying on gimmicks or expensive production.
Instead of adding more branding, we introduced an unexpected yet premium element: a real humanoid robot.
The robot became part of the team rather than a standalone attraction: it greeted spectators, waved to the grandstands, interacted with fans, posed for photos, walked around the grid, distributed branded autograph cards, and created memorable moments around the car.
Rather than asking people to create content, we designed an experience people naturally wanted to film, photograph, and share.
The robot acted as an attention magnet, directing visitors toward the race car, team, and sponsors, making the entire grid position significantly more noticeable.
The team's grid position became one of the busiest and most photographed spots of the race weekend.
Content featuring the humanoid robot landed organic coverage across some of Dubai's most popular media and community platforms, including Lovin Dubai, significantly extending the campaign's reach beyond the team's own audience. The activation helped the team stand out among more than 60 competitors, driving attention back to the race car, the sponsors, and the brand through highly shareable, organic content.
